One permanent and one alternate member, selected from among valuation experts who are full-time employees of valuation institutions and who do not hold the title of responsible valuation expert, constitute the Association body responsible for conducting disciplinary investigations, reaching decisions, and submitting them to the board of directors for approval in accordance with the Disciplinary Regulations regarding disciplinary offenses committed by members of the Association. The Disciplinary Committee Members consist of three permanent and three substitute members elected by the General Assembly by secret ballot. From among the three permanent and three substitute members,

·         One permanent member and one substitute member are selected from among the responsible appraisers in valuation institutions,

·         One permanent and one substitute member are selected from among appraisers who are not in full-time employment with valuation institutions.

The primary purpose of the Disciplinary Committee is not to impose punishment but to discipline the sector. Members of the Association who engage in actions and behaviors that do not comply with the professional honor or professional principles and rules, who fail to fulfill their obligations to their clients without a legitimate reason, who fail to act in accordance with the honesty required by their duties, who disrupt order and integrity in the valuation profession, who cause unfair competition in the market, who involve fraud in activities, who prevent the open and orderly conduct of activities, and who act contrary to the relevant legislation and decisions are penalized according to the nature and importance of the act.

CANER HENDEN

Born in Giresun in 1986, Caner Henden completed his secondary education at Giresun High School and graduated from Selçuk University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Geological Engineering. He has served as a valuation specialist and auditor at real estate valuation companies. He currently provides services to valuation companies on a contract basis and serves as a court-appointed real estate valuation expert, preparing valuation reports and price determination reports. He is not engaged in any occupation other than valuation.

His objectives in the valuation sector include ensuring that reports are prepared in accordance with the International Valuation Standards (IVS), expanding business volume, fostering the employment of new professionals, enabling the increasing workload to be shared among licensed companies, institutionalized contracted valuers, and independent practitioners, and safeguarding the professional rights and benefits of valuation specialists..
