Standards Committee

The International Valuation Standards Standards Committee is the Association body responsible for creating and updating valuation standards and professional rules to ensure that the activities carried out by the Association Members are fair and honest in order to ensure a certain level of quality in the valuation profession, and to ensure business ethics and that the Association Members work in solidarity and with the care and discipline required by the profession.

They are appointed and announced by the Board of Directors from among the members of the Association. If necessary, the Board of Directors may also appoint Association members who are currently serving in the Association organs as members of the committee. The term of office of the committee is two years. Committee members whose term of office has expired may be reappointed by the Board of Directors within the framework of these operating principles.

Committee Members are appointed and announced by the Board of Directors from among the Association Members who have at least 3 years of professional experience in the fields of real estate valuation, capital markets, finance, banking, land registry and cadastre, law, urban planning, engineering, general management, economics, business, administrative and financial affairs, and accounting. The term of office of the committee is two years.
